Alexa Chung In Valentino - 2012 NME Awards

Alexa Chung wore a Valentino Pre-Fall 2012 dress to the NME Awards in London.

The dark blue dress with tulle and lace tiers is very girly - something Alexa rarely wears.  But she does wear it well.

My only complaint is regarding those black platform Prada sandals she loves - they don't work with this dress.

Claire Danes In Valentino - Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Claire Danes resembled a life-size doll in her Valentino Pre-Fall 2012 gown.

The über romantic gown with a rose-printed tulle bodice and a ruffled skirt may look pink from the pictures, but it's actually a sweet red colour.

Claire was the last person I would have imagined wearing this dress (I was hoping Shailene Woodley would) as she tends to prefer simple, classic silhouettes.  However, she totally knocked it out of the park.

A simple updo and pink lips let the dress remain the centre of attention.

Brooklyn Decker In Valentino - Elton John's Oscar Viewing Party

Brooklyn Decker looked drop dead gorgeous at Elton John's Oscar party.

The model/actress wore a spaghetti strap Valentino column gown with embroidery and embellishments.

The colour of the gown is wonderful against Brooklyn's tan.  Sparkling Chopard jewels and Jimmy Choo shoes and clutch completed her look.

Shailene Woodley In Valentino - 2012 Oscars

Shailene Woodley wore a white Valentino Spring 2012 Couture gown to the Oscars.

The full sleeved gown with a high neck and a column skirt was very clean and pristine but just not appropriate for a someone who is in her 20s.

That being said, Shailene's face was beautiful and I love her high bun.
